On Tuesday, we will be flying to Bangkok, Thailand for a week to take part in the 18th International Festival of dance and music.

Bangkok is the capital and most populated city in Thailand, the city, also known in Thai as Krung Thep (city of angels) is famous for its vibrant street life and cultural landmarks, as well as its notorious red-light districts. The historic Grand Palace and Buddhist temples including Wat Arun and Wat Pho stand in contrast with other tourist attractions such as the nightlife scenes of Khaosan Road and Patpong.

This is the second time the Staatsballet Karlsruhe is invited to take part in the 18th International Festival of dance and music in Bangkok. In 2013, we performed Giselle and a ballet Gala, and this time we are taking The Nutcracker.

I am very excited since I loved being in this city last time! I can’t wait to enjoy the amazing  food and get some Thai massage again!!!
